SW Series

Packaged Water Cooled A/C

Commercial grade air conditioning units are water-cooled for energy efficiency. They're built in a cabinet designed to take the harshest environment: the heavy gauge steel cabinet is coated in galvalume which offers superior corrosion resistance.

Copper tubing in the refrigerant circuit is brazed using a special alloy to minimize leaks caused by harsh conditions.

Coils have an epoxy-type coating applied in a multiple dip-and-bake process and feature extra side spacing for easy coil cleaning and minimal dust build-up.

Hermetic scroll compressors are efficient and built with rubber isolator mountings to reduce vibration transmission. Each has an anti-short cycle timer and high/low pressure switches to protect the compressor. SW060 has one compressor; SW096-240 have two compressors; SW300 has three compressors.

Features

Evaporator Coil—Enhanced copper tubing is bonded to enhanced, rippled aluminum late fins; treated with corrosion resistant finish

Refrigerant Coil—Thermostatic expansion valve is standard; SW060 has a single circuit; SW090-SW240 have two independent circuits; SW300 has three circuits

24V Control Circuit—Has oversized transformer for operation with a conventional thermostat control interface

Centrifugal Blower Wheel—Forward curved blower has large diameter wheel for maximum airflow with minimal noise; belt-driven design has solid steel shaft; blower RPM can be adjusted in the field

Power Supply—Models are available in 208/230V single phase (SW060 only); 208/230V three phase, and 460V three phase. Can be ordered with standard or oversize motor

Filters—Factory installed filters are disposable and 2" thick; SW240 and SW00 come with external filter rack

Accessories

The following accessories are available:

- Discharge Plenum and Grille

- Vertical Hot Water Heating Coil

Look for the Leaf: R-410A is called an environmentally-friendly refrigerant because it does not contribute to the depletion of the earth's vital ozone layer, which provides a protective barrier against the sun's harmful UV rays. Soon all refrigerants used around the world will be replaced by non-ozone depleting refrigerants such as R-410A, which is already in use in many Comfort-Aire models. Look for equipment marked with the leaf, signifying that it's charged with R-410A.
