High Efficiency Gas Furnaces

The future of high-efficiency home heating just got smaller. At only 34" in height, this unit is the smallest high-efficiency 90% plus gas furnace on the market today. It is available in upflow, downflow, or horizontal in heating capacities ranging from 45,000 BTUH to 120,000 BTUH. For dealers and for homeowners, the benefits are endless!

The unit is lighter and shorter than any other 90% plus gas furnace available. It is a snap to unload, and will fit in the space of virtually any furnace it is replacing. Its low profile, 34" height leaves plenty of room for installation.

Contractors and architects, particularly those who are energy-efficient minded, will admire the size and efficiency of the unit as a distinct advantage in the design phase. The installation options are almost unlimited. Homeowners will appreciate the energy savings and the space savings.

The unit is designed with proven, time-tested components. State-of-the-art computer simulation and exhaustive field-testing have produced the finest high-efficiency gas furnace around. Service, if necessary, is quick and easy with the aid of self-diagnostic controls.

This series is 'add-on ready'! All comfort options like central air conditioning and electronic air cleaner are integrated into the furnace's control package. And there's no problem with space.

Features

Induced Draft Blower—Specifically designed for the Tubular Heat Exchanger. It pulls hot combustion gases through the exchanger until the burners cycle off. Heated air is locked in while cold air is locked out.

In-shot Burner—Engineered to provide the most efficient air/gas mixture possible. Resulting in more heat transferred to the home more efficiently.

Primary Heat Exchanger—It is the patented tubular design featuring aluminized steel construction for maximum resistance aga inst corr osion and thermal fatigue. It carries a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Secondary Heat Exchanger—A unique heat recovery coil that features all stainless steel fin and tube construction for longer life.

Electronic Ignition—Quiet, automatic electronic ignition--an extremely efficient way of igniting fuel, since no continual ignition source is needed.

High Efficiency Blower—Direct drive blower system directs warm, filtered air through ducts to heat each room in the home. No belts or pulleys to fail or wear out.

Integrated Furnace Control (IFC—Controls and functions are integrated into one board making the furnace easier to install and set-up for add-on central air conditioning and electronic air cleaner. This control features on-board diagnostics including flame sense, lock-out retry, and self-healing cycle.

Look for the Leaf: R-410A is called an environmentally-friendly refrigerant because it does not contribute to the depletion of the earth's vital ozone layer, which provides a protective barrier against the sun's harmful UV rays. Soon all refrigerants used around the world will be replaced by non-ozone depleting refrigerants such as R-410A, which is already in use in many Comfort-Aire models. Look for equipment marked with the leaf, signifying that it's charged with R-410A.
