Inverter Technology for efficiency and comfort

Our "V" Series mini-splits utilize inverter technology to reduce temperature fluctuations while saving up to 40% on energy consumption (compared to a standard mini-split).

Basically the inverter allows the compressor to run at variable speeds to match the demand, providing precise temperature control.

Most of the time the unit runs at a low "economy" speed to maintain the temperature and humidity levels. During times of high demand, the compressor ramps up automatically to a higher speed.

Inverter units reach SEER levels as high as 19.30 for real energy efficiency.

All sizes are available in heat pump models, ranging from 9,000 to 36,000 BTUH.

Mini-splits are the ideal solution for conditioning areas where adding ductwork is impractical or too expensive. This includes older homes, bedrooms, sunrooms, additions, office spaces, computer rooms, sports arena skyboxes, and interior warehouse offices, to name just a few.

Mini-splits are easily installed with the condensing unit located outside and the air handler(s) mounted inside. A hole less than 3" in diameter is all that's required to connect lines and wires between the outdoor and indoor components. Units come pre-charged with environmentally friendly R-410A.

Features

Wireless Remote—Makes it easy to program and operate the unit; one remote is included for each indoor air handler

Multiple Modes—Cooling, dehumidification only, and heating with sleep mode, 24-hour timer and turbo mode

Random Swing—Continually adjusts fan speed and air direction for a gentle, breeze-like effect

Multi-Stage Filtration—Includes ionizer to remove microscopic particles, active carbon and dust filter, and freshening filter for improve indoor air quality.

Low Ambient Operation—Cooling mode functions even when outdoor temperature reaches 5°F

Defrost Control—Automatically removes any frost accumulation on the coil of heat pumps

Auto Restart—Reverts to the last setting when power is restored following an outage

Look for the Leaf: R-410A is called an environmentally-friendly refrigerant because it does not contribute to the depletion of the earth's vital ozone layer, which provides a protective barrier against the sun's harmful UV rays. Soon all refrigerants used around the world will be replaced by non-ozone depleting refrigerants such as R-410A, which is already in use in many Comfort-Aire models. Look for equipment marked with the leaf, signifying that it's charged with R-410A.
