Gas Furnaces for Manufactured Homes

The MGD-B Series has been specifically designed for installation in manufactured housing. Four heat capacities and two blower choices handle heating and cooling (up to 5 tons) in any climate.

Furnaces operate quietly with a fully insulated cabinet to minimize heat loss while absorbing operating sound.

Furnaces must be installed with new roof jacks, crow and roof jack sealant to assure a legal and safe installation. The sealed combustion "pipe-within-a-pipe" roof jack vents combustion gases while bringing in outdoor air for increased efficiency and safety.

Solid state controls provide trouble-free ignition, and the programmed on-off blower keeps room temperature even for comfort.

Power Supply: 115V-1-60

Features

Sealed Combustion System—Safe and efficient because no indoor air is used for combustion

Twin Disposable Filters—Uses standard filters that are readily available

A/C Ready—Controls for A/C are standard; comes with built-in space for coil up to 24" tall

Hot Surface Ignition—Electronic system with no standing pilot light

Monoport Burner—Constructed of stainless steel and sintered metal for exceptional efficiency and long life

Full Insulated Cabinet—Fiberglas insulation with reflective foil minimizes heat loss and absorbs sound

Accessories

A complete line of accessories is available. See the Brochure PDF for descriptions and part numbers.

The MSA Series of coils has been specifically designed to match the MGD-B Series. [see Brochure 2 for coil specifications and more information].

Look for the Leaf: R-410A is called an environmentally-friendly refrigerant because it does not contribute to the depletion of the earth's vital ozone layer, which provides a protective barrier against the sun's harmful UV rays. Soon all refrigerants used around the world will be replaced by non-ozone depleting refrigerants such as R-410A, which is already in use in many Comfort-Aire models. Look for equipment marked with the leaf, signifying that it's charged with R-410A.
