Room air heat pumps are ideal for adding comfort to room additions, apartments, or any room in the house. A window mounting kit is included with the unit. Models have been designed to blend with any room decor. All controls are up-front and easy to reach.
The slide-out chassis and cabinet are constructed of galvanized steel and finished in stone white polyester. The cabinet serves as a mounting sleeve, eliminating the need to disturb the installation when cleaning or servicing. Air flow is directed where it is needed through the adjustable, multi-directional air outlet grille.
Eletronic controls and a handy remote control are easy to use and understand, making for convienent operation.
The unit is charged with the environmentally-friendly refrigerant R-410A and changes over to supplemental electric heat at outdoor temperatures below 40°F.
Features
Slide-Out Filter—Easy to remove, slide-out filter makes it a breeze to clean. All units have a filter designed to trap dust and other foreign particles, keeping the air cleaner.
Multi-Speed Fan—Three speed cooling, heating and fan settings, plus ventilation control.
Operation Modes—Cooling, heating, fan only and auto operation, energy saver mode.
Digital Display—Shows the set temperature when in heat/cool/energy Saver mode. Shows time remaining on the delay timer. Shows the room temperature when in fan only mode.
Recovery Feature—In case of a power outage or interruption, the unit will automatically re-start in the setting last used after the power is restored. If delay timer was set, it will also resume.
24-Hour Programmable Timer—The unit can be programmed to come on in 1 to 24 hours at its previous mode and fan settings. The unit can also be programmed to turn off in 1 to 24 hours.
