18,500 BTUH Cooling with Electric Heat
The perfect choice for applications when heat may be needed regardless of outdoor temperature. These units provide cooling or heating and feature the environmentally-friendly refrigerant R-410A (Note: These units are designed for supplemental electric heat only, thermostat cycles heating element on and off).
Like all Comfort-Aire room air conditioners, these models meet or exceed minimum EER requirements. Our REG series offers three fan speeds for cooling, heating and fan-only modes for more control and quieter operation.
These models are made of painted, galvanized steel for protection against corrosion. They feature a stone white decorator front with front-mounted, removable filter and slide-out chassis. In addition all models feature a protective rear grille.
The REG-183 comes with electronic controls and a full-function remote. Features include 24-hour on/off timer, energy saver mode, auto restart and one degree temperature adjustment. 18,200/18,500 BTUH cooling, 13,000/16,000 BTUH electric heat. 208/230V 60Hz.
